The classic box sash window has been a feature of Britain's architecture for over three centuries. Thought to have been of French origin, this timeless style was adopted in Britain as early as the 17th century, and is truly part a our heritage. Countless properties, diverse in style and stature, share this common feature. From traditional towns and cities, to rural villages and conservation areas, the sash window can be found practically everywhere: in stately homes, Georgian period properties, Victorian and Edwardian terraces, charming cottages and listed buildings of all types.

All our new Sash windows have a built in but subtle draught proofing system. Our windows can be supplied single or double glazed and with traditional weights and pulleys. We use a slimline double glazed unit that allows us to have individual panes of glass, we do not use stick on glazing bars.

We can match your existing window details from the mouldings to the horn profile. We understand how important windows are in a home, not only do they need to suit the architectural style and integrity of the building but also add value. We have a large selection of window furniture in many different finishes to choose from, all of which are of the highest quality.

We make the majority of our new joinery out of Southern Yellow pine. The reason why we use this particular wood is because it is more durable than standard Pine. We are very selective when it comes to timber, making sure we discard any knots and splits we come across. We make all of our sills out of a hardwood called Iroko which again is known for its durability. It also has natural preserving oils which makes it a perfect choice to use for a sill.
